Reasons to love it, and reasons not to

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to bars and eateries! The shower had excellent water pressure.

On the downside, the hot water took quite a time to warm up, somewhat inconvenient.

Great hotel with perfect rooms and a private bathroom. Pleasant staff during our stay. Family ambience. Unbeatable location, only 5 minutes walk from the center. The restaurant was NICE, with friendly staff. The venue of choice in Colunga.

Came here for 1 day, the hotel was great, it had exceptionally nice location close enough to grocery stores and restaurants and shop and the beach. Courteous staff, suggested places to visit.

The mattress was super firm, but I loved the cozy room vibe.

The staff's eagerness to accommodate my need for an extra recovery day made my stay stress-free. The fragrant ambiance and warm, spacious room added a cozy touch to my time at Villa De Colunga.

The staff was really friendly, and early check-in was awesome. We enjoyed the beautiful coastal spots, like the nearby beach and fun local eateries. The place was clean and quiet. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable spot to unwind.

Although it was a good stay overall, the mattress in our room was quite firm, less comfortable for sleeping. A kettle would have been nice for making tea too.

The clean rooms felt great, especially with those comfy pillows. I loved having my own bathroom and shower. The location was fantastic, just a couple of blocks off the main street and close to the church. Walking to the beach took about 20 minutes, perfect for a relaxing day. The only downside? The mattress was a bit worn. It could definitely use an upgrade for better sleep. A kettle in the room would have been nice for making tea instead of using the communal microwave.

Staying here with my family and relatives was fantastic! The spacious family room afforded us plenty of space, and we enjoyed the beautiful beaches just a short walk away. Visiting the local eateries was a hit, especially for the kids who loved the ice cream spots!

In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly activities would be great.
